The AJP Tour recently released the full schedule for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Rio de Janeiro (see here), an event that is scheduled for next weekend, December 5th and 6th, at Arena Carioca 1, in Barra da Olímpico Park Tijuca.
The tournament, it’s worth remembering, reached the maximum capacity of athletes and will have more than 1100 competitors in two days of uninterrupted action. On the 4th, between 4pm and 6pm, the official weigh-in will takes place.
On Saturday, the matchups start from 9am: male and female, purple and brown belts, adult and master. On Sunday, Grand Slam is restricted to black belts, which promises to be an amazing Jiu-Jitsu show.
