The event held last Saturday (27th), UFC on ESPN 12, in Las Vegas (USA), had only one Brazilian in action. After making his debut for the promotion in May, with a loss to Andrei Arlovski, Philipe Lins returned to the cage in a fight against Tanner Boser, but had little time to show any quality. The Brazilian even started the fight promisingly, trying to press his opponent against the cage and threatening with some good strikes from mid-distance. However, Philipe was caught by a right-hand punch by which unleashed a brutal sequence of blows, ending with the Brazilians night in the octagon.
