Considered the underdog before the fight, Derrick Lewis took big steps towards a second fight for the UFC heavyweight belt last Saturday (20), in the main fight of UFC Vegas 19. In front of Curtis Blaydes – ranked second before the fight – “Black Beast” was able to resist his opponents initial impetus and found a home for a right uppercut, which literally dismantled Curtis Blaydes.

The knockout puts Derrick Lewis back into the race for a heavyweight title shot, with four consecutive victories. The first time he competed for the title in 2018, he was submitted by Daniel Cormier.
