Grandes combates foram vistos no UFC 244, realizado no último sábado (2), em Nova York (EUA). Dos 12 duelos do card, sete deles terminaram em nocaute, sendo um com interrupção médica no intervalo do terceiro para o quarto round, na luta principal, onde Nate Diaz não teve mais condições de lutar após ser examinado e, com isso, Jorge Masvidal foi declarado vencedor.
De resto, o que se viu foram belos nocautes, com destaques de Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Edmen Shabahzyan, Shane Burgos, Corey Anderson e Kevin Lee, que utilizaram de seus golpes plásticos para vencer seus respectivos oponentes, fazendo a festa do público presente na tradicional Madison Square Garden.
